Dear Parents and Invited Guests,

The Institute at Tanglin Trust School invites you to our first event with David Faulkner, MBE OLY on:

Developing a High Performing Approach and a Culture of Excellence
Event dates: 27-28 September 2022

David will unpack the role of parents, educators, coaches, and students in developing a culture of excellence and supporting the aspirations and well-being of young people. The discussions will focus on a holistic approach to supporting talent in sport, and other pursuits.

There are 3 events with David Faulkner during the week of September 26, the "Register" button on this page is for the following event:

Player and Parent Goals at Different Ages
What is a parent’s role in supporting their child’s talent and development in sport alongside managing academic pressures? This session will focus on understanding the importance of developing potential, managing setbacks, and growing resilience vs. a focus on 'winning.' David will provide insights on the use of language, positioning, and the importance of self-awareness for parents as they support their child’s aspirations.
